Najaf city is the one of the historical Islamic cities. Which contains on Kufa town, the old Islam capital, and contain on Imam Ali holy shrine. The city is located 180 km south of Baghdad. Which laid on Euphrates river from eastern side and Najaf sea from the western side. Najaf city includes several universities rather than Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University, there are Kufa University, Jabir Ibn Hayyan Medical University, Alkafeel University, Islamic University, University of Imam Jafar Sadiq and Sheikh Tusi University College.
